<title>I have multiple myeloma, and I&#8217;ve found that the side effects of my condition can often be relieved with pantyhose, just plain old pantyhose. Often regular thigh-highs can be better than regular socks also. Compression hose are often too much, and they&#8217;re very difficult to deal with. I&#8217;m wondering if anyone else has come to the same conclusion? Has there been any research or any kind of documentation? Has anyone else decided how effective different hosiery types are for either side effects or for cancer itself? Just how effective are pantyhose for cancer.</title>

<title>Hi.  I&#8217;m Lisa Wise.  And for the past thirteen years, I have lived with a rare incurable yet highly treatable blood cancer called Waldenstrӧm macroglobulinemia. I am sitting in the middle of this creek balanced between two rocks because I have a question about balance. My question is, how do I live in the shadow of incurability? Meaning, how do I live with the knowledge of my cancer together with my desire to live a meaningful, rich, joyful life that is full of hope. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my question and I can&#8217;t wait to hear your response.</title>

<title>Hello, I am a CLL survivor. I just want to know how often I and the many other CLL survivors should receive a CAT scan or an MRI.  Is it only when we are having symptoms or is it standard procedure? Now, if it&#8217;s not standard procedure, how will the doctor know when the cancer has returned?  You know, I feel that blood test and consultation is just not enough.  So that&#8217;s my question.</title>

<title>My father was diagnosed with CLL at age 66 but died a year later of richter’s syndrome.  I was diagnosed with DLBCL (double-hit, BCL-2/MYC) at a younger age and have been in remission for 5 years.  Are the diseases connected, and are my family members at elevated risk?  My niece died at age 11 of acute myelomonocytic leukemia as well.  But in her care, her father’s brother had and died of myeloma too, so potentially both sides of her family. </title>

<title>I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, or AML, at 34 years old and was told that my gene mutation was inversion 16. In other words, that my 16th chromosome was inverted. I asked if this was something I was born with and was told no. I heard that people could acquire mutations throughout their lives, not just people who end up with cancer. How do genetic mutations and chromosomal abnormalities come about and how was it able to go back to normal after chemo? Could I have done anything to cause the mutation?</title>
